

A total of five DLC expansions were released for the game ( Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta) on October 12, 2009, the base game and all five expansions were bundled and released as Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition on all platforms. The Microsoft Windows version of game was released both physically at retail stores and digitally on Steam on October 28, 2008. The game marks the shift of the series from isometric 2D graphics and turn-based combat to full-3D graphics and real-time combat.
